About the event
Wheeler Track & Field has had a successful 2018 season. We have produced several JV & Varsity County Champions, several Region & Sectional Champions, one State Champion runner-up in the discus, and one State Champion who broke the 100m State Record. As we continue to grow, more and more kids are getting involved. We had 5 Wildcats compete in the AAU Junior Olympics in Iowa, this summer. Over the last 8 years, Coach L has helped 10 athletes acquire full athletic scholarships to the school of their choice.
We are in need of new equipment, hurdles, blocks, and even more coaches to continue the good work that Wheeler is doing. Come on out to the Boo-tiful Fun Run. Let's make this annual event a show-stopper. Parents are encouraged to support their kids by wearing a costume and cheering really loud for their little ones.
